Once again India couldn’t capitalize after good opening stand between Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir and are all out for 249 off 80 overs in their first innings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is selected for Country’s best sportsman award Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna for the year 2007. He is the second cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to get this award. He is selected for his performance as captain to lead India win T20 world cup tournment. This will be officially announced later.

It is surprising to see only one Indian batsman could make a half century in the whole test match while four of Sri Lankan batsman made centuries in the only one innings Sri Lanka played.
